We are searching for an Electrical Critical Facilities Engineer (CFE) for an operator of a brand-new, cutting-edge data center facility in Lancaster, TX, just south of Dallas. Job Responsibility:
Lead advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs of electrical systems within the data center
Design, implement, and optimize technical programs to improve facility efficiency, reliability, and safety
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs), and Maintenance Operating Procedures (MOPs)
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for system failures and implement corrective actions
Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of critical infrastructure systems
Manage vendor relationships and ensure quality control of outsourced maintenance and repair services
Provide technical training and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians
Stay up to date with industry advancements and integrate best practices into facility operations
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in critical facility operations, data centers, or related fields
Deep technical knowledge of electrical equipment including switchgear, ATS, breakers, and transformers
Experience designing and managing technical programs to enhance facility performance
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Proven leadership, communication, and team-building abilities
Ability to develop and execute training programs for technical staff
Proficiency with Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS)
