We are searching for an Electrical Critical Facilities Engineer (CFE) for an operator of a brand-new, cutting-edge data center facility in Lancaster, TX, just south of Dallas. Job Responsibility

  • Lead advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs of electrical systems within the data center
  • Design, implement, and optimize technical programs to improve facility efficiency, reliability, and safety
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs), and Maintenance Operating Procedures (MOPs)
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for system failures and implement corrective actions
  • Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of critical infrastructure systems
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure quality control of outsourced maintenance and repair services
  • Provide technical training and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians
  • Stay up to date with industry advancements and integrate best practices into facility operations
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in critical facility operations, data centers, or related fields
  • Deep technical knowledge of electrical equipment including switchgear, ATS, breakers, and transformers
  • Experience designing and managing technical programs to enhance facility performance
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven leadership, communication, and team-building abilities
  • Ability to develop and execute training programs for technical staff
  • Proficiency with Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS)
