Job Description

As an Electrical Technician, you work on a wide variety of equipment and devices within a facility. Your responsibilities are to install and repair electrical systems, calibrate equipment, and inspect designs for quality control. You may also troubleshoot wiring issues or install switchgears.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide all required electronic system maintenance work, including work orders, reactive, preventive, and predictive maintenance throughout the plant
  • Must be able to perform repairs of industrial electronic controls to the component level
  • Requires good troubleshooting skills and the ability to use necessary test equipment including digital multi-meter & oscilloscope
  • Install and repair electrical systems
  • Calibrate equipment
  • Inspect designs for quality control
  • Troubleshoot wiring issues
  • Install switchgears

Requirements

  • Two-year Technical Degree in Electronics or equivalent relevant work experience with a technical degree
  • Three years of experience repairing industrial controls to the component level
  • Good troubleshooting / problem solving skills
  • Perform component level circuit board repair
  • Good soldering skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Ability to work in a production environment
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Good communications skills
  • Good at multi-tasking
  • Accuracy: perform tasks thoroughly and with care of details that are easy to overlook
  • Dealing with change: I adapt to change quickly and easily
