Recognised professional qualification in electrical Installation – NVQ Level 3 C&G or equivalent
At least 5 years’ experience in industrial installation
Full UK driving license
Be prepared to work away from home for up to 80% of the year
Ability to think on your feet and be self-motivated to deliver excellent service

Job Responsibility

Supervise site and team members
Fault find and repair electrical instrumentation systems
Test installations
Interpret engineer drawings, schedules, and vendor specifications
Liaise with clients, contractors and appropriate authorities
‘Red pen’ construction drawings and documentation
Lead a team or work as part of a larger team to ensure work is completed on time and to Technica quality standards
Adhere to client regulations and standards
Be an ambassador for our company
Ensure Technica values and standards are maintained

Job Responsibility

Hold daily meetings with your teams and ensure notes/minutes are taken and all hazards and safety issues are addressed at this meeting
Establish new projects, including sourcing documentation, liaising with compliance officers, setting up site safely, planning the work with Project Manager, Project Engineer or Site Engineer, identify major risks, and identify long lead items
Ensure new starters are introduced to the team and are given support to be productive and efficient
Ensure subcontractors and suppliers are engaged properly and that any procurement is done with Managements’ full knowledge
Enhance organisation reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Provide assistance to Management in the day to day running of the business
Identify risks early and inform Management as soon as you become aware of them
Keep records of all costs and provide invoices, dockets, time sheets and receipts as soon as practically possible to the Administration team

2+ years of construction management experience on multi-site, multi-MW C&I or utility-scale energy projects, or equivalent experience in commercial construction, MEP coordination, or electrical contracting with willingness to learn energy systems

Job Responsibility

Oversee day-to-day construction operations across multiple C&I and utility-scale solar, energy storage, and microgrid sites, ensuring safe execution on schedule and within budget
Lead field crews, subcontractors, and vendors by understanding their perspective and challenges before implementing solutions
Manage project schedules, budgets, and procurement using Procore, MS Project, or Primavera, delivering quality work efficiently without cutting corners
Serve as primary liaison with AHJs, utilities, and permitting bodies, providing direct answers and ensuring regulatory compliance
Conduct site inspections and quality control reviews, catching issues early through meticulous attention to detail
Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs, considering how electrical systems, storage, and controls integrate across the entire project
Track and report project progress to stakeholders and customers without burying the lead
Resolve constructibility issues with engineering and design teams, maintaining optimism while acknowledging real constraints
Champion safety culture, ensuring all personnel follow OSHA requirements and company protocols—because our customers depend on reliable, safe energy infrastructure
