Electrical Construction Supervisor

• Oversee and manage construction activities across a variety of projects
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements
• Supervise and coordinate a team of construction personnel, subcontractors and equipment
• Implement and promote safe work procedures and practices
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues and implement corrective solutions
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress, and resource utilisation
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other key stakeholders to ensure project success
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain high standards of quality and safety
• Participate in planning meetings and contribute to the development of project schedules

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Supervisor in a heavy industry (ideally mining) environment
• Proven track record of managing construction projects safely and efficiently
• Strong understanding of mining operations, construction techniques and equipment
• Excellent knowledge of relevant safety regulations and industry best practices
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate stakeholders including contractors
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Electrical trade qualifications or other relevant trade are highly regarded
• Valid driver's license
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• Commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement
• Highly technical and detailed
• Energetic with a positive, can-do attitude
