Job Description:

Commissioning & Testing role for mission-critical electrical systems.

Job Responsibility:

  • Execute commissioning activities for mission-critical electrical systems
  • Review commissioning plans, procedures, and method statements
  • Perform testing and validation of: MV/LV switchgear, Transformers, UPS systems, Battery systems, Generators, ATS/STS systems, Busway and distribution systems, Power Distribution Units (PDUs)
  • Conduct pre-functional and functional performance testing
  • Review electrical drawings, specifications, and commissioning documentation
  • Maintain accurate commissioning records, test reports, and punch lists
  • Ensure compliance with project standards and relevant electrical codes
  • Support handover documentation and client training.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Experience commissioning critical electrical infrastructure
  • Knowledge of power distribution systems in mission-critical facilities
  • Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and procedures
  • 3-8 years experience in electrical commissioning or testing
  • Experience on data centres or critical facilities preferred
  • Familiarity with mission-critical redundancy systems.
