As an electrical project manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of a landmark project located in the West Island of Montreal. The electrical project manager position is 100% site-based, focusing on the administrative and technical management of electrical installations for a major bridge project. You will bridge the gap between field execution and project documentation to ensure every milestone is met with precision.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the day-to-day administrative aspects of the electrical portion of the project directly from the site
  • Coordinate with field teams to ensure technical specifications are followed to the letter
  • Ensure rigorous cost tracking and management of allocated budgets for electrical components
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with specialized electrical subcontractors
  • Develop and update production schedules using MS Project
  • Actively participate in site meetings in the West Island of Montreal and ensure fluid communication with the client

Requirements:

  • Solid experience in electrical project management, ideally 5 years or more
  • Strong background in field operations combined with excellent administrative and management skills
  • While an engineering degree is an asset, it is not mandatory for this specific role
  • Hold a valid ASP Construction card
  • Mastery of Suite Office tools and MS Project software
  • Demonstrate natural leadership and a great capacity for team problem-solving in a high-pressure environment
