Job Description

The BIM Specialist at Power Design is a team player who collaborates with VDC Project Managers and other members of the preconstruction team to create innovative, detailed, installation construction plans for large-scale projects.

Job Responsibility

  • Work with project teams to produce accurate and cost-effective electrical coordination plans in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • Communicate and collaborate with VDC project management and the VDC team to create high quality drawings that meet project standards, milestones, and deliverables
  • Work with and prepare external documents for electrical projects

Requirements

  • At least two years of BIM experience working with modeling programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Fabrication CADMEP, as well as 3D modeling experience is preferred but not required
  • A perfectionist who is obsessed with quality and has general electrical knowledge
  • Candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English, as this role requires communication with English-speaking clients and colleagues
  • Having a US Visa will be a plus, as there will be travel to the U.S. for onboarding, training, and team building
  • Demonstrate and uphold Power Design’s core values, which include integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth
