Job Description:

Assist journeyman level electrician in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist journeyman level electrician in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems
  • Support technicians in repairing motors, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), control panels, and transformers
  • Install conduit, cable trays, wire, and electrical components according to schematics
  • Perform routine inspections to detect faults in electrical systems
  • Adhere to OSHA standards and Lockout/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures
  • Complete work orders and update maintenance logs

Requirements:

  • Basic mechanical aptitude, familiarity with hand/power tools, and ability to read blueprints
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights
  • Enrolled in or willing to enroll in a formal apprenticeship program
