Job Responsibility

  • Maintain and repair electrical and instrumentation assets
  • Fault‑find and troubleshoot plant and control systems
  • Complete testing, commissioning and CMMS documentation
  • Apply PTW, isolations and LOTO requirements
  • Support plant start‑ups, shutdowns and commissioning
  • Maintain asset reliability and raise defect work requests
  • Comply with WHS, Energy Safety and site standards
  • Communicate work status, risks and equipment condition
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and team capability

Requirements

  • WA ‘A’ Grade Electrical Licence (essential)
  • Experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance in processing or industrial environments
  • Strong fault‑finding, troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
  • Solid understanding of PTW, isolations, LOTO and electrical safety legislation
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics and technical documentation
  • Comfortable working in a safety‑critical, remote FIFO/DIDO environment
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team‑focused approach
  • Committed to continuous improvement, reliability and quality outcomes

  • Maintaining fixed plant electrical and instrument equipment in line with standard work procedures to ensure the safe and reliable production of all fixed plant equipment
  • Technical Skills: Trade-qualified Electrical & Instrumentation Technician
  • Strong fault-finding skills on electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Experience with PLCs, VSDs, MCCs, and motor control circuits
  • Calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of field instruments (pressure, flow, level, temp, analysers, density's)
  • Knowledge of control systems (e.g. Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, Yokogawa, Honeywell – as applicable)
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, loop diagrams, schematics, and cable schedules
  • Experience with preventive and breakdown maintenance in an operational plant
  • Safety & Compliance: Strong commitment to safety and adherence to procedures
  • High-risk licences (HV switching, isolations, confined space, working at heights, etc.)
