Job Responsibility

  • Executes the specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site
  • Filling Quality Records and providing to Quality Manager assistant for process
  • Preparation and performing inspections for all electrical and instrumental installations and witnessing all testing required
  • Checking the conformity with the Quality Control Plan, obtaining the relevant documentation, checking procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls and inspections, managing documents that certify tests, controls and inspections
  • Active particiption in preparation of calculation needs in terms of the Contract

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the oil and gas industry
  • Excellent knowledge of English both written and spoken
  • Experience in final installation inspections and testing for Instrument calibrations including ultrasonic flow meter, level transmitters, temperature transmitters, pressure transmitters etc
  • Previous experience in high voltage electrical installations including switchgear and electric drives
  • Working knowledge of construction standards, codes of practice and regulations/legislation relating to electrical and instrumentation work
  • Experience in filling and preparing Inspection forms and reports
  • Knowledge and able to read Construction documentation
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Package. Familiar with other computer packages (eg. MS Project, Outlook, etc)
  • Able to work autonomously and in team, Problem-Solving Skills and Excellent organizational skills

Nice to have

  • Hazardous Area installation and inspection experience is an advantage
  • Ability to perform well under pressure
