Job Description:

A local authority in the North West is seeking an experienced Interim Electoral Services Officer to support the delivery of electoral registration and election processes during a busy operational period. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and highly organised professional with previous electoral services experience to join a collaborative team and ensure statutory deadlines and legal requirements are met.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivery of elections and referendums to strict legislative deadlines
  • Annual canvass planning and administration
  • Managing and maintaining accurate electoral register data
  • Handling complex and sensitive data in line with GDPR requirements
  • Responding to elector enquiries professionally and efficiently
  • Supporting compliance processes, election expenses and FOI requests

Requirements:
