Job Description

Home Manager for a well-established, medium-sized residential and dementia care home in Huddersfield. This is not a turnaround role. The home is performing well, with a Good CQC rating, strong occupancy, and a stable, committed team already in place.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide effective leadership across all aspects of the home
  • Maintain and enhance CQC compliance and quality standards
  • Support, develop, and motivate an established staff team
  • Ensure excellent resident care and experience at all times
  • Manage occupancy, budgets, and overall performance
  • Build positive relationships with families and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Home Manager within a similar-sized elderly care setting
  • Strong track record of maintaining Good or above CQC ratings
  • Experienced in residential and/or dementia care
  • Confident managing stable services
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or equivalent)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
