Job Responsibility

  • Handle elder law litigation cases, ensuring efficient and effective management of legal processes
  • Draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and clarity
  • Conduct thorough discovery processes to gather and analyze pertinent information
  • Represent clients in civil litigation matters, advocating for their rights and interests
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes
  • Provide detailed legal advice and guidance to clients on elder law issues
  • Manage case files and maintain organized documentation throughout the litigation process
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy in legal proceedings
  • Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, and trials as required

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in private practice in some area that touches elder law, such as estate planning, probate, special needs/disability planning, guardianship/conservatorships/protective proceedings, financial exploitation, probate/trust litigation
  • Must be licensed and in good standing in Minnesota
