The role is focused on identifying core capability development needs and solutions, and on designing leadership programs for emerging and senior leaders. The department’s human capital plan includes reviewing the adequacy and availability of learning and development in core capabilities such as health economics, costing, data science, classification and policy development, and project management. It also involves designing and implementing a leadership development program with two tiers: Senior management (EL2 - SES1) and Emerging leaders (APS6 - EL1), potentially supplemented by coaching, mentoring and related initiatives.
Job Responsibility:
Identify core capability development needs and solutions
Design leadership programs for emerging and senior leaders
Review adequacy of learning and development in core capabilities
Provide online learning resources, develop training programs, and design on-the-job development opportunities
Design and implement a leadership development program for senior management and emerging leaders
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in a relevant discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
Broad and deep knowledge of learning & development theory and practice
Extensive experience in training needs analysis and the design of L&D programs
