Job Description:

You will be managing liability claims ranging from minor slips and trips through to establishing third party Liability connected with catastrophic events. The role provides flexible working arrangements and can be completely working from home, with possible regional travel. Responsibilities include proactively handling and settling third party Liability claims, establishing liability via investigation, and managing claims with clients and brokers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting clients in proactively handling and settling a mixed caseload of third party Liability claims
  • establishing liability via thorough investigation on each case
  • providing support and advice on claims issues to policyholders within specified timeframes
  • managing a mixture of employers’ liability and public liability claims
  • managing client relationships through delivery of SLAs and KPIs
  • liaising with colleagues within different business areas for thorough claim processes
  • removing hurdles to resolve issues and ensuring swift settlement/denial whenever possible

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to handle the full range of EL / PL and Product liability claims including claims involving third party property damage
  • extensive experience of writing investigation reports
  • extensive knowledge of the insurance market
  • extensive technical knowledge within the adjusting arena
  • understanding of Client SLA compliance/productivity/quality requirements
  • proven proficient working knowledge of scoping software and handheld device use
  • good negotiation skills
  • ideally ACII/LLB or working towards these qualifications, however, candidates who are qualified by experience are welcome to apply
