EKG Tech

• Provides all cardio diagnostic services as ordered by physician in compliance with department's policies and procedures
• Independently performs computer-assisted electrocardiograms according to specification in procedure manual
• calls for support when required
• processes EKG test results using computer system and edits EKG reports
• assists with scanning of Holter monitor recordings and processing of results, which includes typing, sending, filing and scheduling
• assists with evaluations of transtelephonic strips and processing of results
• schedules and performs treadmill tests, processes test results and reports results to cardiologist
• and assists with general clerical duties, which include testing, logbooks, billing and charge reconciliation

HS Diploma/GED and one year healthcare experience or EKG or Arrhythmia certification required
