Job Description:

Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add an EKG Stress Technician in our Diagnostic Cardiology Unit at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a PRN, Day shift opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

  • Properly placing leads and performing EKGs with accuracy
  • Maintaining detailed and organized work logs
  • Preparing patients for stress testing
  • Placing monitors and obtaining vital signs
  • Providing assistance and reassurance to patients undergoing stress testing
  • Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other members of the cardiology team
  • Adhering to safety protocols and infection control policies

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years Experience performing EKG
  • Experience performing Holter application
  • High School Diploma Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

Nice to have:

Associates of Science Preferred
