The EHS support coordinator for Cytiva is a member of the EHS team. As such, you support the department and the employer in general in ensuring the daily safety and working conditions as well as environmental policy of the site. You have sufficient knowledge of the occupational risks and circumstances and the (preventive) measures to be taken so that good working conditions and safety are guaranteed. In the field of working conditions, you are a point of contact for the staff and external experts. You have a primarily operational and support role within the entire EHS policy, in which you help monitor the progress in implementing the measures resulting from the RI&E and applicable policies. In addition, you also act as the eyes and ears of the department and you will spend a large part of your time on the work floor. In addition to the above, you have basic knowledge of environmental aspects.
Job Responsibility
Management of various systems, reports and registrations in the field of safety, working conditions and the environment
Support for the roll-out, maintenance and improvement of DBS tools such as ++SQDIP, 5S, 4E-events, etc.
Support for important processes relating to EHS topics, such as group notifications, work permits for contractors, security, business continuity, safety rounds, inspections and checks, reporting thereof and follow-up actions
Support for the implementation of work permits
Drawing up and updating various safety and work instructions, standard work, information posters, etc.
Requirements
MBO work and thinking level
Basic knowledge of EHS subjects comparable to VCA level
1 to 3 years of relevant work experience
Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch (oral and written)
Proficient in Excel and other MS Office applications
