Role description: We are looking for a motivated and responsible Health, Safety, and Environment Specialist to join our team in the aviation sector. The suitable candidate will assist in the development, implementation, and improvement of HSE programs in accordance with Bulgarian legislation and aviation industry requirements.

Job Responsibility

  • Organize and control activities related to ensuring healthy and safe working conditions
  • Ensure compliance with Bulgarian legislation, European directives, and aviation standards
  • Implement instructions, procedures, and work safety programs
  • Advise workers on the application of HSE rules
  • Conduct risk assessments, workplace inspections, and internal audits
  • Develop and conduct HSE training, as well as safety and health briefings, in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis

Requirements

  • Completed higher technical education, Bachelor's degree
  • Previous experience in a similar position, interests, and solid knowledge in the safety field
  • Skills in working with legal provisions and regulatory acts
  • Excellent communication and training skills, conflict management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Proficiency in English
