Job Description:

This role consists in managing the full SHE & Security agenda for the non-manufacturing part of the country in Poland. Our purpose is to drive Unilever activities with zero harm to people and to the planet. You’ll be part of a European team that works strongly together to drive a common agenda.

Job Responsibility:

  • In relation with the local teams (workplace, HR, legal), ensuring SHE & Security compliance with country regulations and Unilever requirements
  • Official designated safety responsible person for the Katowice office and unique SHE responsible person for the Warsaw Head office and all Unilever non make activities in the country (sales, marketing events…)
  • In charge of all legal SHE activities: legal risk assessment, legal safety committees’ meetings, incidents investigation, design of safety rules in the workplace, training of the emergency and first aid teams…
  • Managing road safety and telematics
  • Organizing meetings with the country leaders for the follow up of the SHE & Security agenda
  • Design and deployment of a safety communication strategy together with the communication teams for offices and sales
  • Influencing leaders and employees to adopt safe attitudes and behaviors

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing safety in an autonomous way at a site level or at country level
  • Qualified to be the legal safety representant of the company: university degree in occupational health and safety or postgraduate studies in this field
  • Fluent in English (part of a European team)
  • Communication skills to lead meetings with different stakeholders and adapt the safety message to the audience

Nice to have:

A previous experience as SHE & Security manager in a non-make environment of an international company would be appreciated
