To serve as an EHS resource for the Company. Manages and coordinates all safety, health, environmental and training matters to ensure and promote a safe and productive environment by identifying and anticipating concerns and hazards, developing, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with occupational safety and health regulations. Leads health and safety activities at the assigned facilities.

Enforcing Safety Policies By Conducting Inspections, Reporting Statistics, And Advising Managers And Employees
Developing Knowledge Of The Occupational Hazards/Exposures For Specific Work Locations
Coordinating And Serving As Liaison With Federal/State/Local Safety Regulatory Agencies
Staying Current On Professional And Legislative Changes Associated With Safety And Occupational Health
Coordinating And Conducting Monthly Safety Training Programs At Various Locations
Developing, Reviewing, Maintaining, And Implementing The Company’s Safety Policies And Procedures Manual
Investigating Accidents To Ascertain Causes For Use In Recommending Preventive Safety Measures
Assisting In Developing Alternatives To Decrease Workers Compensation Claims And Rates
Performing All Other Tasks As Assigned By Supervisor

Requirements:
Five (5+) years minimum management experience in safety, training, and industrial hygiene, preferably in the oil and gas industry
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college, or related experience
Ability to accurately solve problems and exceptional proficiency in data management
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public
Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a specific ability to translate complex information into an organized and presentable manner
Outstanding administrative and organizational skills
Proficiency in the use and application of the following Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Nice to have:
Master’s Degree from an accredited university or college
CSHO, COSS, CIH or CSP preferred
Experience in the use of the application of ChemWatch or other SDS management systems, VelocityEHS or other incident management systems
Alaska Residency Preferred
