Job Description:

AMTS is looking for a Construction Safety Professional to join our team supporting fast-paced, high-tech industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing and managing site safety programs in complex, high-risk environments while maintaining strong relationships with project teams, subcontractors, and clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs
  • Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company, client, and OSHA standards
  • Provide training, safety orientations, and toolbox talks for all site personnel
  • Identify potential hazards, perform risk assessments, and recommend corrective actions
  • Lead incident investigations and prepare detailed reports on findings and corrective measures
  • Partner with project leadership to drive a culture of safety awareness and accountability
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety documentation, including reports, permits, and training records
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and proactively engage in continuous improvement of safety performance

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of safety experience in construction or high-tech industrial environments (semiconductor, data center, pharmaceutical, etc.)
  • OSHA 500 certification required
  • OSHA 510 preferred
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations and standards
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and coach others
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with digital safety management tools
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-discipline construction environment
  • Maintain current knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and maintain outside professional contacts
  • Be at the work site daily during working hours for the purpose of inspection to determine compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety rules
  • Investigate and prepare all accidents and injury reports and distribute according to customer and AMTS policy
  • Coordinate safety training activities as to site requirements
