Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the QUA ARGUS team to set goals with senior management, drive programs, manage significant environmental aspects, assess risks, and monitor performance against cost reduction targets
  • Responsible for providing technical and tactical support within the region
  • Implement strong and effective systems that maintain certification according to current industry standards
  • Facilitate compliance with facility, regional, corporate, and regulatory standards and guidelines through assessments, inspections, record keeping, and data documentation
  • Serve as a liaison with applicable external regulatory agencies
  • Oversee internal and external audit processes throughout the Mexico region and follow up on audits to ensure satisfactory compliance
  • Develop and present training materials to orient new and existing employees in the classroom, workshops, and meetings
  • Support EHS aspects in the planning, execution, and maintenance of new facilities and their related management systems
  • Collaborate in the Environmental Management System according to the environmental roles and responsibilities matrix

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as EHS Manager
  • English fluent is a MUST
  • Experience in automotive industry
