Job Responsibility

  • Develop, implement, and manage the overall EHS management system for the construction project
  • Provide strategic EHS leadership to internal teams and contractors, ensuring full compliance with legal, corporate, and client standards
  • Coordinate and oversee all risk assessments, site audits, inspections, and incident investigations
  • Act as the primary EHS contact for client representatives, local authorities, and project stakeholders
  • Lead regular EHS performance reviews, analyse trends, and introduce proactive measures to reduce risk
  • Monitor contractor performance, verify documentation, and enforce corrective actions when needed
  • Oversee training and onboarding programs to ensure all personnel are competent and informed
  • Promote a strong, visible safety culture, fostering engagement at all levels of the project

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in EHS management, ideally on major construction or industrial projects
  • Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline
  • Proven track record leading large, multi-contractor sites
  • previous experience in semiconductor or cleanroom environments is highly desirable
  • In-depth knowledge of German and EU safety regulations, including construction law and environmental compliance
  • Recognized certifications such as NEBOSH, SIGEKO, or other relevant EHS qualifications
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • German proficiency is a distinct advantage
  • Willingness to be based full-time on site in Dresden, Germany
