Job Description:

As a EHS Lead you will responsible to focused on maintaining the fire protection system and alarm systems during the project's construction phase, as well as managing all safety, health, and environmental requirements and protocols throughout the construction process (in accordance with current Mexican regulations).

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and validate the implementation of safety standards and protocols developed during engineering, through performance engineers, by conducting inspections to identify and evaluate deviations in construction areas
  • Validate, approve, and verify solutions to potential deviations in the installation process of fire protection and alarm systems
  • Provide guidance in the interpretation of drawings and all documents related to fire protection and alarm systems during the construction of the project
  • Coordinate and guide the supervision of performance engineers, while supporting contractors and project personnel in the scope of safety and fire protection systems
  • Validate and update emergency response protocols during project development
  • Validate progress and results within the discipline
  • Establish communication process for reporting risks, incidents, solutions, and progress made on-site to enable effective decision-making by the Project Management team

Requirements:

  • Knowledge in the design and calculation of fire protection systems, suppression systems (clean agent), foam systems, and applicable standards (NFPA and NOM-02)
  • On-site experience in safety-related functions
  • Experience in engineering of fire protection and alarm systems
  • Proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Neodata, SolidWorks, SAP, Smart Plant 3D, HydraCAD, Elite Fire, Hidcal, Aloha, and Microsoft Office Suite
