Job Responsibility:

  • Implement and maintain safety protocols to handle chemicals safely, minimizing risks to employees and the environment.
  • Develop and oversee programs to reduce the company’s environmental footprint, including energy use, emissions and resource conservation.
  • Ensures compliance to EHS Laws and other related requirements
  • Manage waste streams effectively, ensuring hazardous materials are disposed of safely and in compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Safety Data Sheets and ensure proper labeling and communication of chemical hazards to employees.

Requirements:

  • Engineering courses
  • Experience in a manufacturing company is an advantage
  • With more than 3 years of relevant experience
  • Familiarity w/ local regulations and other relevant standards
  • Experience in managing safety and environmental projects, including risk assessments and compliance audits
