We are looking for a hands-on EHS Coordinator to support the implementation and continuous improvement of our Health, Safety, and Environmental programs. Job Responsibility:
Support the maintenance of HSE policies in alignment with local, provincial, and federal regulations
Assist with site emergency response plans, including alert systems and preparedness drills
Conduct workplace safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification
Support ISO preparedness and customer-driven compliance audits
Participate in incident and near-miss investigations, ensuring thorough documentation and follow-up
Promote safety awareness through active "on-the-floor" presence and employee engagement
Support green initiatives, including waste reduction, recycling, and energy efficiency
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Studies, or a related field is preferred
Entry-level candidates with co-op or internship experience in manufacturing/industrial environments are highly encouraged to apply
Mechanical or Electrical expertise is a significant asset (familiarity with machinery)
Knowledge of production processing (raw materials, manufacturing, and warehousing)
Strong communication, organizational, and observational skills
Detail-oriented, approachable, and proactive
A willingness to complete HSE-related training and certifications as required
