We are looking for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) contractor to support environmental programs, regulatory compliance, workplace safety, risk reduction, and EHS initiatives.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the environmental programs, assuring regulatory compliance
Conducts GEMBA walks, inspections, and risk assessments to drive a proactive safety culture
Conduct investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Create, update, and manage EHS procedures and training programs
Develop and implement EHS procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess EHS risks and develop effective mitigation strategies
Provide guidance and training to employees
Identify and implement innovative solutions to promote a safe and healthy work environment
Support the administration of various EHS programs and initiatives
Participate in self-assessments
Support the training program by assisting in the development and delivery of EHS training
Perform risk and hazard assessments, inspections, GEMBAs, and audits
Work may include cleanroom gowning and PPE requirements, multi-site support, and occasional off-hour support for projects or emergencies
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, occupational safety, industrial hygiene, or related technical field
5-8+ years in EHS, particularly managing environmental programs for manufacturing operations
prefer CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Proficient with MS Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
Well versed with EHS-related federal and state regulations (e.g., EPA, MassDEP, OSHA)
Ability to take initiative, work independently, and adapt to changing priorities
