Support development and implementation of site-specific EHS programs, including risk assessments, hazard identification, and welfare plans during groundworks and build phases
Deliver and maintain safety induction, toolbox talks, and training materials for contractors, subcontractors, and site staff
Coordinate with construction & engineering teams to ensure safe work practices, PPE compliance, and environmental protection in line with German and EU regulations
Perform incident investigations, root cause analysis, and help implement corrective/preventive actions
Monitor environmental controls, including dust, noise, chemical handling, and waste, ensuring alignment with green construction goals (e.g., energy efficiency, water conservation)
Act as liaison with local authorities, auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely EHS reporting and compliant documentation

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on EHS experience within construction or advanced manufacturing environments, preferably with exposure to high-tech/cleanroom or semiconductor projects
In-depth knowledge of German (e.g., ArbSchG, GefahrstoffV) and EU EHS regulations, plus standards such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or similar
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Certifications such as SIGEKO (SiGe-Koordinator), NEBOSH, or ISO Lead Auditor are highly advantageous
Fluent in English
functional German language ability is a strong plus
Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style – able to influence multi-disciplinary teams and on-site contractors
Flexibility to be based in or near Dresden
A valid Visa/Work permit for the specific job location is essential for this role
