EHS Advisor, Long Clawson Dairy (Clawson Farms), Based: Long Clawson (LE14 4PJ) – On Site full time (Non Hybrid) – Some travel to Bottesford site, Salary: up to £45k DOE + Great Benefits, Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday – 08:30 – 17:00. We are now seeking an experienced EHS Advisor, to join the Clawson family situated in the picturesque village of Long Clawson, just 6 miles from Melton Mowbray.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support HSE for the business by ensuring that it's at the heart of everything we do, with the aim of ensuring a safe, secure and supportive environment
  • Lead on developing, implementing and maintaining health, safety and environmental policies and procedures in line with regulations and ensuring completion of site legislation compliance matrix
  • Keeping up to date with health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices
  • Managing health surveillance programme
  • Promoting a positive health and safety culture
  • Advise and support the responsible departmental managers to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations using People Compliance System (online legal register)
  • Perform related duties or activities, as assigned, within your scope of knowledge, skills or experience
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining health, safety and environmental policies and procedures in line with regulations and communicate updates across the 2 sites
  • Conducting regular site audits and inspections
  • Identifying hazards, assess the risks and recommend suitable control measures

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar HSE role
  • Manufacturing, particularly food or FMCG preferred
  • NEBOSH qualified in Occupational Health and Safety Management
  • Environmental qualification and experience
  • Good Understanding of Food Safety/Level 2 food Safety
  • Strong communication and influencing skills across all levels
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines
  • In-depth knowledge of UK HSE regulations/ legislation and risk management
  • Organisational skills- good time management and priority setting
  • Training experience and expertise
  • Working knowledge of MS Office packages
