EHS Advisor, Long Clawson Dairy (Clawson Farms), Based: Long Clawson (LE14 4PJ) – On Site full time (Non Hybrid) – Some travel to Bottesford site, Salary: up to £45k DOE + Great Benefits, Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday – 08:30 – 17:00. We are now seeking an experienced EHS Advisor, to join the Clawson family situated in the picturesque village of Long Clawson, just 6 miles from Melton Mowbray.
Job Responsibility:
Support HSE for the business by ensuring that it's at the heart of everything we do, with the aim of ensuring a safe, secure and supportive environment
Lead on developing, implementing and maintaining health, safety and environmental policies and procedures in line with regulations and ensuring completion of site legislation compliance matrix
Keeping up to date with health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices
Managing health surveillance programme
Promoting a positive health and safety culture
Advise and support the responsible departmental managers to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations using People Compliance System (online legal register)
Perform related duties or activities, as assigned, within your scope of knowledge, skills or experience
Developing, implementing and maintaining health, safety and environmental policies and procedures in line with regulations and communicate updates across the 2 sites
Conducting regular site audits and inspections
Identifying hazards, assess the risks and recommend suitable control measures
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar HSE role
Manufacturing, particularly food or FMCG preferred
NEBOSH qualified in Occupational Health and Safety Management
Environmental qualification and experience
Good Understanding of Food Safety/Level 2 food Safety
Strong communication and influencing skills across all levels
Attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines
In-depth knowledge of UK HSE regulations/ legislation and risk management
Organisational skills- good time management and priority setting
Training experience and expertise
Working knowledge of MS Office packages
Nice to have:
Knowledge of ISO Standards
Auditing Experience and Training
Experience of implementing/ managing environmental permits
