Job Description

EHCP Administrator - Specialist SEND School. Location: Cambridgeshire (Cambridge area). Salary: £22,625 - £23,300 per annum. Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent (Term-Time Only). Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Start Date: September 2026. Application: Are you an organized administrative professional with a passion for Special Educational Needs? Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate, schedule, and manage the end-to-end process for students' Annual Reviews
  • Prepare comprehensive paperwork ahead of reviews and take accurate, professional minutes during meetings
  • Act as a key point of contact, communicating effectively with parents, local authorities, and multidisciplinary therapeutic teams
  • Ensure all EHCP documentation is processed with a high level of accuracy and adheres to statutory timescales
  • Provide ad-hoc administrative support to the wider school team to contribute to a smooth-running educational environment

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans) or within special educational needs administration is essential
  • Exceptional accuracy and organization skills, with the ability to manage strict deadlines and prioritize a busy workload
  • A good understanding of the principles of autism education, or a genuine willingness to learn and develop your skills in this specialist area
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative, team-player attitude
  • A deep commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
