We are recruiting on behalf of a local authority in Essex for 2 experienced EHC Coordinators to join either the Assessment or Casework teams. These roles offer an exciting opportunity to make a real difference for children and young people.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as the main point of contact for a dedicated caseload
Manage either: New EHC assessments (approx. 40–60 cases) or Existing EHC plans (approx. 200–240 cases)
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and local authority policies
Liaise with families, schools, and professionals to deliver high-quality support
Requirements:
Experience as an EHC Coordinator or similar role
Knowledge of SEND legislation and Education, Health, and Care Plans
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to manage a significant caseload effectively
