Job Description:

The overall purpose of the position is to pick up racks and boxes of Eggs from designated Breeder farms, on a routine schedule, while replacing supplies on the farms and delivering the eggs to the warehouse or hatchery as directed.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensures timely and accurate delivery of eggs according to dispatcher scheduling
  • Performs a pre-trip truck inspection according to a DOT sheet, reporting any deficiencies to proper fleet mechanics
  • Ensures accurate recordkeeping of fuel purchases, trip tickets, daily logs and time sheets
  • Pick up racks and boxes of Eggs from designated Breeder farms, on a routine schedule, while replacing supplies on the farms and delivering the eggs to the warehouse or hatchery as directed

Requirements:

  • Class B Commercial driver's license accepted, Class A preferred
  • 2+ years commercial driving
  • Reading, writing and math skills
  • High School or equivalent
