Job Description:

We are looking for an EFT Workflow Specialist to join our team remote for a 7+ month contract. In this role, you will support and manage secure file transfer workflows, ensuring the seamless movement of data between systems and external partners. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to work with a collaborative team on critical data processes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Configure and maintain electronic file transfer workflows to ensure secure and efficient data exchange
  • Establish and manage connections for secure file transfers between internal systems and external partners
  • Monitor file transfer processes to guarantee timely and successful data movement
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to file transfer workflows and connectivity
  • Work closely with internal teams to onboard new partners and integrate new workflow processes
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for configurations, workflows, and troubleshooting procedures
  • Provide support during system upgrades or changes impacting file transfer processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize and enhance workflow efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols and standards for data transfers

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience working with electronic file transfer tools or platforms
  • Familiarity with Globalscape EFT or other managed file transfer platforms is preferred
  • Strong understanding of EFT workflows, integrations, and secure file transfer protocols
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to workflows
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining productivity
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and partners
  • Knowledge of FTP and workflow processes is an advantage

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Globalscape EFT or other managed file transfer platforms is preferred

  • Maintain detailed documentation and renewal schedules for licenses, credentials, and payer requirements
  • Own requirements for and execution of site inspections across multiple office locations
  • Coordinate responses to payer and regulatory requests for information in the event of an audit or otherwise
  • Own the end-to-end payer onboarding process, ensuring payers are fully loaded prior to effective dates
  • Partner with Billing and Ops teams to ensure claims and billing workflows are configured correctly, EFT and remittance are set up, authorization and denial management processes are in place, and reimbursement rates are clearly articulated
  • Act as the operational point of contact during payer go-lives
  • Maintain ongoing compliance and good standing across 85+ payer contracts
  • Support contract amendments, renewals, and updates
  • Track payer performance indicators such as rejections/denials, AR aging, patient responsibility, and cancellation rates, escalating issues as needed
  • Work closely with Payer Leads, Legal, Finance, Billing, Ops, and CS teams
