We are pleased to offer an opportunity for a qualified and experienced Educational Psychologist to join our strengths-based Educational Psychology Service (EPS). You will enjoy a varied, rewarding and meaningful workload, delivered alongside your core statutory responsibilities.
Job Responsibility:
Provide a traded service to link education settings alongside delivering a free systemic offer
Deliver core EPS commissions within the Council and lead on a variety of strategic projects
Shape and innovate strategy including supporting the SEND Priority Action Plan and Health Transformation Programme
Provide high-quality psychological advice as part of statutory EHC needs assessments
Contribute to SEND decision making groups by advocating for children and young people and contributing a psychological viewpoint
Requirements:
Qualified and experienced Educational Psychologist
Enthusiastic about applying psychology to make a meaningful difference for children, young people and their families
Ability to help shape new core service delivery offer
Ability to deliver a traded service to education settings, commissioned work and lead on projects
Ability to provide high-quality psychological advice as part of statutory EHC needs assessments
Ability to contribute to SEND decision making groups
Must be currently residing in the UK
