The Gloucestershire Educational Psychology Service (EPS) is expanding and recruiting for three groups of Educational Psychologists (EPs): Trainee EPs qualifying in September 2026 (current TEP Y2); Trainee EPs qualifying in September 2025 (current TEP Y3); Qualified EPs who share the same values as our team. Our mission is to find solutions and improve outcomes for children and young people through partnership.

Job Responsibility:

  • Apply specialist knowledge to support children, young people, schools, and families across Gloucestershire
  • Find solutions and improve outcomes for children and young people through partnership
  • Work in an exciting and growing consultation service
  • A variety of work in both rural and urban settings
  • A range of generic and specialist work within the 0-25 age range in all types of educational settings

  • Be committed to the delivery of children’s workforce development and support for parents
  • Be able to work effectively in both rural and urban settings
  • Have a firm commitment to building relationships and inclusion by working on bringing about change rather than just documenting needs
