Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the development and implementation of engaging, high-quality educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Mentor and support educators to plan and deliver meaningful learning experiences
  • Promote a holistic approach to education, incorporating health, fitness, culture, music, language, cooking, and outdoor activities
  • Foster a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity
  • Provide constructive feedback to educators to promote continuous improvement and a culture of positive change
  • Collaborate with families to ensure each child’s learning journey is supported and enriched
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and trends in early childhood education, leading the team in innovative practices

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or actively studying towards one
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis Certificate, or willingness to obtain before you start
  • Current Child Protection Training Certificate, or willingness to obtain
  • Current Blue Card
  • Demonstrated passion for nurturing the next generation of learners
  • Experience in leading curriculum development with a focus on play-based learning and holistic education
  • Strong written communication and literacy skills, with the ability to document and communicate educational progress effectively
  • An ability to provide feedback that fosters professional growth and a positive team culture
  • High-level time management skills to effectively balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A collaborative mindset, committed to working as part of a community of learners
