Job Description

We are seeking an Educational Digital Support, Cloud & ICT Officer to play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality digital learning services within Haringey Learns. This position is responsible for the maintenance and development of the Virtual Learning Environment, Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, and ICT infrastructure, ensuring systems are secure, effective, and fit for purpose. You will provide technical support to staff and learners, troubleshoot issues, manage hardware and software, and contribute to the development of digital and e-learning strategies that enhance teaching and learning.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting the delivery of high-quality digital learning services within Haringey Learns
  • Maintenance and development of Virtual Learning Environment, Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, and ICT infrastructure
  • Ensuring systems are secure, effective, and fit for purpose
  • Provide technical support to staff and learners
  • Troubleshoot issues
  • Manage hardware and software
  • Contribute to development of digital and e-learning strategies that enhance teaching and learning

Requirements

  • Proactive and technically skilled ICT professional with strong experience in supporting hardware, software, and network systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with ability to explain technical concepts clearly to a range of users
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft 365, networking, and cyber security
  • Confident diagnosing issues, managing workload, and delivering high-quality support
  • Ideally hold current Microsoft qualifications or accreditations
  • Level 3 (or above) ICT or digital qualification
  • Knowledge or certification in cyber security (Level 2+)
  • VMware technologies or equivalent experience
  • Flexible and solution-focused approach
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and digital innovation
