Job Responsibility:

  • Provide expert safeguarding advice and guidance to schools, academies, and education professionals
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with education settings to enhance safeguarding practice through advice, guidance, auditing, advisory reviews, training and learning events
  • Support education settings to meet their statutory safeguarding responsibilities
  • Provide consultation and oversight on safeguarding concerns, allegations and complex cases
  • Work closely with colleagues across education, social care, health and partner agencies

Requirements:

  • Substantial experience working within a local authority or education setting
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes
  • Exceptional communication skills
