Job Description
CSIRO Education & Outreach is seeking an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Education & Engagement Facilitator to deliver high-quality professional learning that supports educators to confidently embed Indigenous perspectives and inclusive practices within existing STEM curriculum frameworks across Western Australia. This role focuses on building educator capability. You will work primarily with teachers and education professionals, delivering engaging in-person and virtual professional learning that strengthens confidence, classroom practice, and student outcomes. Your work will help educators apply inquiry-based approaches and community-endorsed resources in ways that are practical, culturally informed, and aligned to curriculum requirements. This role contributes to meaningful change in how science is taught across Australia. It supports respectful, culturally informed practice in education, helping educators engage with Indigenous perspectives thoughtfully, responsibly, and in ways that reflect shared values of integrity, humility, and inclusion. As part of a broader national team, you will also work flexibly across programs and projects, supporting delivery continuity and strengthening impact across diverse communities.
