Job Description:

Join our passionate team to support families, children, and young people together with educational settings through the Education Health and Care Needs Assessment and Annual Review Process. This is a fixed term/secondment role to cover maternity leave until 17th May 2027.

Job Responsibility:

  • Take a child centred approach to coordinating EHC needs assessments
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and a range of other professionals
  • Work closely with Children and families to create effective EHC Plans
  • Plan effectively to ensure annual reviews are carried out and updated
  • Ensure correspondence from parents, settings, and other stakeholders are resolved promptly

Requirements:

  • Excellent communicator
  • Able to build strong relationships with families and professionals
  • Organisation skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ideally a SEND background with knowledge of the statutory processes outlined in the SEND Code of Practice (2015), the Children and Families Act (2014), and the Equality Act (2010)
