Job Description

Join our Editorial Department as a student assistant! Support academic publishing through stakeholder analysis, database management, and social media promotion in a collaborative, on-site role.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the maintenance of our database by ensuring that it stays up-to-date and comprehensive
  • Assist with general administrative tasks that support the broader editorial workflow
  • Analyse the activity of our stakeholders
  • Help identify and compile lists of potential scholars who might be invited to join our Editorial Board or serve as Guest Editors
  • Shortlist conferences and academic collaborations matching the scope of the journals
  • Assist in journal promotion by social media
  • Assist in organizing group activities for the Editorial Department in Basel
  • You will communicate primarily in English, our corporate language

Requirements

  • Student Status: Currently enrolled in a university or higher education institution
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English (C1)
  • German (C1) is also required
  • Technical Skills: Confident use of MS Office and digital tools for document management, experience with database management
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, keen attention to detail and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
