Job Description

Robert Half is partnering with our client in this search, a Fortune 500 leader in the financial services industry, to hire an Editorial Communications Consultant to support a high-volume enterprise communications and readiness organization. This role will focus heavily on internal editorial communications, weekly newsletter production, stakeholder coordination, and communications project management supporting large-scale product and operational updates across a highly matrixed enterprise environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Write, edit, curate, proofread, and publish internal communications content across newsletters, intranet platforms, and enterprise communication channels
  • Support production and distribution of high-volume weekly internal newsletters and employee readiness communications
  • Ensure all communications are accurate, polished, fact-checked, and aligned to AP style guidelines and enterprise standards
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather updates, manage approvals, and maintain editorial timelines
  • Manage communications workflows, intake requests, and publication schedules across multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Partner closely with readiness, enablement, operations, and communications teams to package and communicate product and operational updates effectively
  • Publish and maintain content within enterprise content management systems and editorial publishing tools
  • Track stakeholder feedback, engagement metrics, and communications effectiveness to support continuous improvement
  • Support broader internal communications initiatives including executive communications, presentations, and enterprise messaging as needed

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, editorial content, or communications consulting within large enterprise environments
  • Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and quality assurance skills with demonstrated AP style expertise
  • Strong experience managing editorial workflows, publication calendars, and communications project timelines
  • Experience supporting high-volume newsletters, employee communications, or intranet editorial operations
  • Proven ability to collaborate across highly matrixed organizations and manage multiple stakeholder groups simultaneously
  • Strong familiarity with content management systems and enterprise publishing workflows
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines in fast-paced environments
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
  • A portfolio of professional writing samples is required for consideration

Nice to have

  • Experience using Workfront or similar workflow/project management platforms preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint preferred
  • Experience within regulated industries or large corporate environments is highly preferred
