Job Description

Our client, a professional services company, is seeking an Editorial Analyst to join their team on a long-term temporary basis with potential to extend in Washington, D.C.

Job Responsibility

  • Edit proposals and client deliverables, including research reports and proposals
  • Copyedit for accuracy, consistency, clarity, and adherence to style across print, web, and multimedia formats
  • Apply client‑specific style guides, including branding, usage, and formatting requirements
  • Edit materials across a range of research topics, including health, social policy, and education
  • Apply plain‑language principles and web‑writing best practices
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to plan, schedule, and complete editorial tasks for large projects
  • Participate in project and client meetings as needed

Requirements

  • 7+ years of copyediting and production editing experience
  • Proven ability to assess editorial needs, prioritize work, and manage short- and long-term projects
  • Demonstrated ability to edit and format across various style manuals
  • Experience editing proposals, reports, and presentations
  • Comfortable collaborating with authors, editors, designers, and production teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat

Nice to have

Experience with Monday.com and Box is a plus
