Job Description:

Apex Systems is looking to hire a HYBRID eDiscovery Project Manager for our client based out of North Carolina. This position operates mostly remotely, but requires candidates to be located in North Carolina for periodic onsite collaboration. This assignment is anticipated to be a 6-month contract with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment. This will also have a first-shift Monday–Friday schedule.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage multiple technology-driven legal matters from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed on time and within defined scope
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal teams, providing consistent communication and updates
  • Apply standardized workflows and established best practices across all assigned matters
  • Identify potential challenges early, recommend solutions, and work with internal partners to resolve issues
  • Collaborate closely with a project management group to support shared clients and deliver a unified client experience
  • Coordinate with cross-functional technical teams to develop and execute customized solutions and workflows
  • Prioritize daily tasks across multiple simultaneous matters in a fast-paced environment
  • Continue building technical knowledge of eDiscovery tools, systems, and processes
  • Support ongoing improvement initiatives to enhance client experience, internal efficiency, and collaboration

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong proficiency with eDiscovery tools, workflows, and processes
  • Ability to learn and master internal systems and project management platforms
  • 3+ years of experience within eDiscovery, legal technology, or a related field
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple teams
