A California-based civil litigation firm specializing in complex fraud, insurance-related litigation, and toxic tort matters is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Paralegal to join the team on a contract basis. This role will support high-volume, data-intensive litigation and is ideal for someone who thrives managing large datasets and collaborating on complex cases in a fully remote environment.
Job Responsibility
Manage the full lifecycle of eDiscovery, including document collection, review, and production
Coordinate with attorneys and external vendors on eDiscovery workflows and strategy
Conduct document review for relevance, privilege, and key litigation issues
Prepare and organize document productions in compliance with court requirements
Maintain and manage large volumes of electronically stored information (ESI)
Assist with discovery responses and support broader litigation efforts
Support case teams on complex matters, including fraud, insurance-related litigation, and toxic tort cases
Ensure adherence to deadlines within a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Requirements
3–5+ years of litigation paralegal experience with a strong emphasis on eDiscovery
Experience supporting complex civil litigation matters (fraud, insurance, toxic tort, or similar highly preferred)
Proficiency with eDiscovery platforms and document review tools (Relativity or similar preferred)
Strong understanding of discovery processes, including ESI protocols and production standards
Highly organized with the ability to manage large datasets and competing deadlines
Comfortable working fully remote while maintaining responsiveness and collaboration
