Job Description

A California-based civil litigation firm specializing in complex fraud, insurance-related litigation, and toxic tort matters is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Paralegal to join the team on a contract basis. This role will support high-volume, data-intensive litigation and is ideal for someone who thrives managing large datasets and collaborating on complex cases in a fully remote environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the full lifecycle of eDiscovery, including document collection, review, and production
  • Coordinate with attorneys and external vendors on eDiscovery workflows and strategy
  • Conduct document review for relevance, privilege, and key litigation issues
  • Prepare and organize document productions in compliance with court requirements
  • Maintain and manage large volumes of electronically stored information (ESI)
  • Assist with discovery responses and support broader litigation efforts
  • Support case teams on complex matters, including fraud, insurance-related litigation, and toxic tort cases
  • Ensure adherence to deadlines within a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of litigation paralegal experience with a strong emphasis on eDiscovery
  • Experience supporting complex civil litigation matters (fraud, insurance, toxic tort, or similar highly preferred)
  • Proficiency with eDiscovery platforms and document review tools (Relativity or similar preferred)
  • Strong understanding of discovery processes, including ESI protocols and production standards
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage large datasets and competing deadlines
  • Comfortable working fully remote while maintaining responsiveness and collaboration
  • Must be based in California
