Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced EDI Manager to lead and scale our global Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) function. This role will manage a team of 10 direct reports and serve as the primary liaison between internal business stakeholders, IT, and external trading partners. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on expertise with SPS Commerce and EDI, strong people leadership, and experience integrating EDI platforms with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F& O) using Azure Logic Apps. This role is critical to ensuring reliable, compliant, and efficient data exchange across global supply chain operations while driving continuous improvement and modernization of EDI services.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own the operations, maintenance, and strategic enhancement of global EDI platforms and services
  • Lead and develop a team of 10 EDI analysts and engineers, providing technical guidance, performance management, and career development
  • Ensure continuous, reliable EDI transaction flows across all global trading partners, internal systems, and supply chain processes
  • Drive and oversee integrations between EDI platforms and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F& O), primarily leveraging Azure Logic Apps
  • Serve as the primary technology liaison for internal business teams (Supply Chain, Logistics, Sales, Finance) and external EDI vendors and solution providers
  • Lead incident response, root cause analysis, change management, and vendor coordination related to EDI services
  • Establish and champion best practices for EDI governance, monitoring, error handling, and process optimization
  • Partner cross-functionally with regional and global teams to support scalable, compliant, and high-availability supply chain operations
  • Support and manage SFTP-based integrations and secure data exchange protocols
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, performance, cost optimization, and partner onboarding

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in EDI with a strong focus on SPS Commerce
  • Retail experience is a must
  • 3+ years of experience in a people management role leading EDI or integration teams
  • Deep knowledge of EDI standards and transactions (e.g., X12, EDIFACT
  • 850, 855, 856, 810, etc.)
  • Proven experience integrating EDI platforms with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps for system integrations and workflow orchestration
  • Strong understanding of global supply chain and trading partner ecosystems
  • Experience managing vendors, MSPs, and third-party EDI service providers
  • Solid background in incident management, change management, and IT service operations
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders

  • Ensure vendors are educated on the integration technologies and standards through regular engagement and performance feedback
