Job Description:

We are seeking an EDI Director to lead enterprise EDI platforms supporting global supply chain operations. This role ensures secure, reliable data exchange across trading partners and drives integration between EDI platforms and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations using Azure Logic Apps. You will serve as the primary liaison between business teams, IT, and external EDI vendors.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own global EDI platform operations, stability, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure reliable EDI transaction flows across trading partners and internal systems
  • Lead EDI integrations with Dynamics 365 F& O using Azure Logic Apps
  • Manage EDI onboarding, integrations, and production support
  • Monitor EDI flows, resolve incidents, and lead root cause analysis
  • Manage EDI vendors, SLAs, costs, and performance
  • Ensure secure data exchange via SFTP, APIs, and EDI standards
  • Partner with logistics, sales, operations, and IT teams globally
  • Maintain documentation, reporting, and compliance (PII, GDPR)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of EDI operations experience in a global enterprise
  • Experience with SPS Commerce and/or DataMasons
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps or similar integration tools
  • Experience integrating EDI with ERP platforms
  • Knowledge of X12 and EDIFACT standards and XML development
  • Familiarity with EDI documents: 820, 836, 850, 855, 856, 860, 865, 870, 940, 943, 944, 945, 947
  • Strong incident, change, and vendor management skills

Nice to have:

  • Azure Integration Services certification
  • ITIL or Service Management certification
  • Experience in wholesale distribution or global supply chain environments
