As an EDI Axway Support Administrator, you’ll be the frontline hero responsible for managing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) operations using Axway technology. This role is pivotal in ensuring 24x7 support for incident management and change management activities. You’ll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, implement changes, and maintain the stability of our EDI systems.
Job Responsibility:
Monitor and respond to EDI-related incidents quickly to reduce downtime
Troubleshoot issues in Axway systems and perform root‑cause analysis
Escalate major issues while maintaining ownership until they are resolved
Implement EDI configuration changes and trading partner setups as per change‑control processes
Work with stakeholders to ensure changes are tested and deployed smoothly
Use monitoring tools to proactively detect and fix potential issues
Perform routine maintenance, patches, and upgrades on Axway systems
Serve as the link between business users, trading partners, and IT teams
Provide clear and timely updates on incident progress and resolution timelines
Maintain detailed documentation for incidents, changes, and system configurations
Create regular reports on system performance, incidents, and change activities
Closely monitor thread and heap utilization across the application stack
Ensure maximum performance without unnecessary scaling
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in EDI support, preferably working with Axway tools (B2Bi, Secure Transport)
Strong knowledge of EDI communication protocols such as AS2, FTP, and SFTP
Experience managing community and partner‑specific certificates
Ability to perform application upgrades and patch management with minimal downtime
SQL skills for analyzing and researching Axway application database tables
Hands-on experience with incident and change management processes, ideally within the ITIL framework
Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities
Willingness and ability to work in a 24x7 rotational shift environment
Nice to have:
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Shell for automation and troubleshooting
Experience using monitoring tools like NewRelic, Splunk, Nagios, or similar platforms
Knowledge of cloud-based EDI solutions or cloud-integrated EDI workflows
Understanding of SOC2 and/or SOX compliance requirements as they relate to EDI operations and auditing
