Respond to inquiries in an efficient, courteous and professional manner
Set up host/hostess stand
Review guest reservation book
Make recommendations as to the set-up of the room
Maintain a station chart and cover count for the restaurant
Answer telephones and take guest reservations or provide information
Anticipate the needs of guests
Recognize regular guests by name
Inspect and maintain daily menus
Develop a complete working knowledge of all menu items and daily specials
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
Requirements:
Flexible schedule, ability to work morning, afternoon, or evening shifts, weekends, and holidays
Must be fluent in English
Must possess legal work authorization in the United States
